Requirements for Germany tourist visa

• Schengen visa application form (completely and correctly filled and signed)
• Declaration of accuracy of information
• Original valid passport that is not older than 10 years (the passport should have at least 1 blank page for visa stamping)
• 2 recent passport size photographs (coloured photographs taken against neutral grey background)
• Schengen travel insurance (covering a minimum of 30,000 Euros)
• Personal bank statements (last three months)
• Letter of invitation from family or friend residing in Germany or proof of hotel booking
• Proof of flight booking
• A bank statement of last three months or letter of sponsorship from 3rd person who promises to support you financially during your stay in Germany
• Leave letter from your company or employer
• No-objection certificate from school, college or university for students and from employer or company for employees
• A letter of invitation from the person you are visiting in Germany (details of the host - address, contact number, duration of stay, etc.)
• A personal cover letter stating the purpose of visit, duration and what you are planning to do
• Proof of civil status in the form of marriage certificate, death certificate of spouse (if applicable) and birth certificate of children
• Utility bill in your name or driver's license (proof of residential address in the UAE)
• Consent letter of both parents for minors travelling without their parents (the application form should be signed by both parents and their passport copies should also be attached)
